Day 1 Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa by plane or by train
Lhasa train station/ airport picking up. You will be warmly greeted by our local guide and driver, transfer you to reserved hotel in Lhasa. Today is your first day in Lhasa, so have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 2 Day 2 Lhasa Sightseeing: Potala Palace/Jokhang Temple/Barkhor Street(B)
In the morning we arranged you to visit the Potala Palace which is the worldwide known cardinal landmark of Tibet. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages (Avalokiteshvara). Inside Potala palace, you will see the throne room of Dalai Lamas and their golden funeral stupa. Afternoon section is to visit the most sacred shrine and spiritual heart of Tibet, the Johkang Temple, which is built in 7th century by 33RD King Songtsen Gampo. Barkhor street, most known ritual circumambulation where you can see Tibetan locals prostrating and murmuring mantras in strong faith. After you can ask your guide to take you to Local tea stall to have some sweet milk tea .Overnight at Lhasa
Day 3 Day 3 Lhasa Sightseeing: Drepung Monastery/Sera Monastery (B)
Today, you will visit two monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung monastery is situated at 8km away from central Lhasa and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was biggest monastery in the world in 17th century, housed over 10000 monks in 1614 and Ganden podrang in Drepung was the Tibet governmental administration from which former Dalai Lamas had practiced contral over Tibet. Later moved to Potala palace by fifth Dalai Lama, Lobsang Gyatso. After lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is Monks debating which is related to logic, is held there in the courtyard at around 3pm to 4:30pm. Overnight at Lhasa
Day 4 Day4 Driving towards the Gyantse
Morning drive up to Gambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso and spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance, the turquoise colored Lake Yamdrok Yutso is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, the unforgettable vista of pincer-shaped turquoise water of the lake and amazing spectacle of Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar glacier from Karo la pass are wonders of the day. Then along the Friendship southern Hwy drive to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumbum, one of the most stunning architectural wonders in Tibet. Overnight at Gyantse
Day 5 Day5 Driving Toward Sakya, Visit Kubhum monastery, Tashilhunpo Monastery, Sakya Monastery
Drive 90km to Shigatse, you will visit Tashi Lhunpo monastery where you can see the well preserved largest statue of Jampa(future god) in Tibet and golden funeral tomb of former Panchen Lamas. Have a lunch in Shigatse and drive towards the ancient city Sakya where you can visit Sakya monastery. The most interesting thing in Sakya order is leading head is allow to engage in marriage , so that coming head of the order is son of present head. Sakya was capital of Tibet in 12th and 13th century from which Sakyapa head ruled the Tibet on that time. Overnight in Sakya County
Day 6 Day6 Sakya-Rongbuk Monastery
There is about 5 hours driving from Sakya to Rongpuk. The road is under construction. From Tingri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear whether, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which are 8000m high or more, that is, Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Everes (8848m), Mt. Qowowuyag (8201m) and Mt Mayalu (8463m).

Day 7 Day7 Driving towards the Everest base camp and visit Rongbuk monastery.
Early morning start driving to Rongphu through Lhatse and Shegar, cross over Gyatsola 5248m & Gawu la pass 5250m. Shegar to Everest base camp we have to drive over unpaved road. From top of the Gawu la you will see the highest mountains of Himalayan Ranges and its snowy peaks viz Mt.Makalu 8463m, Mt.Lotse 8516m, Mt.Everest 8848m, Mt.Cho Oya 8201m and Mt.Shishapama 8020m from Left to right, climbing down through zig-zag roads lead to Tashi Zom village and then to today's destination - Everest Base Camp. Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet and consist both monks and nuns, it is still a good sight to take pictures of Mt.Everest. You can take the dedicated minibus (25 RMB per person, round-trip) from tent guesthouse camp to Everest base camp,. Overnight at local tent guesthouse (dorm bed without private bathroom, ).
Day 8 Day8 Drive to Saga County (290km)
Today we will drive to Old Tingri cossing Pangla pass 5250m high, through gorge and villages. From Old Tingri drive over unpaved road viewing Mt. Shishabangma 8020m in distance and Pelku-tso are unforgettalbe sceneries, lead to small town called Saga. In Saga, you will see numbers of Indian pilgrimages heading toward Mt. Kailash. Overnight in Saga.
Day 9 Day9 Move from Saga to Lake Manasarovar (500km)
On the way from Saga to Lake Manasarovar though Dongba and Paryang, you will look over view of snow capped mountains in distance, sand dunes and nomade campsite with animals grazing in wild vast grassland. By the way a lots of wild life like wild ass, deer and antelope can be seen. After 4hours drive from Paryang, we will arrive at holy lake manasarovar. Overnight at Chiu monastery.
Day 10 Day10 Spend a day around Manasarovar lake, then to Darchen to prepare your trekking (30km)
In the morning, you can hike around the lake and make pictures of Mt. Kailash from distance. Lake manasarovar is one of the holiest lake in Tibet which cover 400km sq. Lake is devoted by billions of buddhists and hindus. Afternoon drive to Darchen 30km away. Darchen is small village infront of Mt. Kailash. It is starting and ending point of Kailash trekking. At Darchen, accommodations are very simple and basic. You can relax and rest and prepare for next day trekking. Overnight in Darchen.
Day 11 Day11 Trek day one (Outer circuit) - Darchen to Dirapuk (20km)
Trekking around Mt. Kailash is 52km, start from Darchen. Walking toward Tarboche in west. During Saga Dawa festival, thousands of Tibetans and tourist are gathered here to celebrate the festival. From here facing toward north through Sershong valley. Chuku monastery was founded at face of hill on opposite side. Lha-chu river provides a steady supply of water all the way to Dira-puk monastery at north west face of Mt. Kailash. Overnight at Dira-puk guesthouse.
Day 12 Day12 Trek day two - Dirapuk to Zutul-puk (18km)
Second day of trekking is hardest of trekking. You have start second day by climbing up the highest point of trekking Drolma-la pass 5630m high. On the top, many pilgrimages are reading holy books and hanging prayer flags to bring luck and success in life. Have a glimpse and make memorial picture of north face of Mt. Kailash. From here high pass is descending down to grassy field to Zutul-puk monastery. Dzong-chu river on left of trekking path is affording those with camping site and grazing yaks and horses in peak season. Overnight in Zutul-puk monastery guesthouse
Day 13 Day13 Trek day three- Dzultripuk to Darchen (14km)
Today is last and ending of trekking, in the morning visit Zutul-puk monastery and cave of Milarepa(kagyupa magician in 11th century) . Walking through the small gorge and river allows you to see the Barkha plain. You driver will take you to Darchen. Have a good rest after a long trek. Over night in Darchen.
Day 14 Day14Drive from Darchen to Saga through Paryang and Dongba( 530Km)
Overnight in Saga.
Day 15 Day15 Drive to Zhangmu ( 302Km)
Crossing thongla pass 5150m. Enjoy the view of highest mountains of himalayan ranges from Thongla pass. Driving through deep gorges to zhangmu 2300m. Overnight in Zhangmu.
Day 16 Day16 Zhangmu-Kodari-Kathmandu(B)
After breakfast, drive to border and your guide will clear the China customs. You have to walk over friendship bridge to Nepal.
