Day 1 Day 01 Arrival at Lhasa by flight or train [3658m]
 You will be greeted by your Tibetan guide upon your arrival. Afternoon have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude. Overnight at Lhasa.

 

Day 2 Day 02 Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Streets and Lhasa old Town (B)
 

Potala Palaceis the worldwide known cardinal landmark ofTibet. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages (Avalokiteshvara). Jokhang temple is the most sacred shrine in Tibet which was built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, the circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs. Both of them are the focal points of pilgrims from entire Tibetan world, multitudinous pilgrims are circumambulating and prostrating in their strong faith. Afterwards stroll on the narrow streets ofLhasaold town to meet locals people and visit their markets. Overnight atLhasa.

Day 3 Day 03 Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Ganden and Sera monasteries(B)
Morning you will make a excursion trip to Ganden Monastery(about 70kmdrive fromLhasa), which ranks the first among the six largest monasteries of Gelugpa. In addition to its magnificent architecture and religious importance, there is a extremely fabulous view on top of the Ganden Wangpo Hill, and Kichu valley is behind Ganden monastery, it is strongly suggested to hiking around the monastery and take a bird's-eye view of the valley. Today make a day tour to NamtsoLake. Driving along Northern Tibetan grassland, distance view of the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and pass the Nargen-la pass[5190m].NamtsoLakeis one of the three most holy lakes inTibet, also the highest salt lake. You can do a bit trekking at the lakeside. Afternoon drive back toLhasa, en route stop and pay a visit to one of nomad families. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 5 Day 05 Lhasa airport / train station dropping off (B).
