WWF, one of the world's largest international conservation groups, was the first international conservation organisation invited to work in China. Today WWChina run numerous wildlife and energy resources protection projects in China, from restoring the Yangtze river wetlands to environmental education and panda conservation. Since the establishment in 2002 SichuanAlpine has been directed by WWF. |

The Alpine Garden Society was founded in 1929 with the aim of promoting an interest in all aspects of alpine plants, their cultivation in rock gardens and plant conservation in their natural habitats. It is one of the largest specialist garden societies in the world. Its membership includes amateur gardeners, plant enthusiasts, professional growers, botanists, naturalists, photographers and artists. |
