| Hu, Zoologist, is specialized in the study of pandas. He has studied pandas for over 30 years and is one of the first Chinese scientists who have applied modern technology on the panda study. In 1974, he set up Sichuan Rare Animals Investigation Team and served its leader. In 1978 he led to build up the Wuyipeng wild panda observation station. So far he has released 40 theses on pandas. |

| Zhang Heming |
|
| Zhang, Director-General and zoologist, is an expert on natural resource protection. He is the leader of panda breeding research. He earned his B.S. at Sichuan University and M.S. at U.S. Idaho University. He has won a couple of prizes from the state as well as from the province. Due to his contribution to the breeding of captive pandas he is reputed as Father of Panda. Now he is the Director-General of Wolong Nature Reserve Authority in Sichuan Province. |

| Gao Xinfeng |
|
| Gao, Curator of Vegetation Specimen Museum, Chengdu Biology Institute of C.A.S., is specialized in vegetation taxonomy and biological diversity. Now she leads the investigation of biological resources in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province and undertakes the research on the plants distributed at the upper reaches of Minjiang River. |

| Dai Bo |
|
| Dai, senior engineer and zoologist, is an expert on natural resource protection. He graduated in zoology from Sichuan University and earned his M.S. at U.K. Newcastle University in the evaluation of environmental resources. He has finished the investigation of the wildlife at Ganzi Tiebtan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province as well as a series of researches on the conservation of pandas and other wild animals. |

| Yang Jian |
|
| Yang has been researching wild giant pandas and wildlife for years since he started working for China Giant Panda Protection Center after the graduation from the Forestry Department of Nanjing University. In 2000, he was appointed as the curator of China Wolong Panda Museum. Now he is a member of the Sichuan Forestry Academy as well as the Butterfly Department of China Entomology Academy. |
